Two swings hang from a giant swing set, with aerial dance performances lasting approx 15 minutes repeated 4 times a day. After performances, the wwings are open for the public to sit and swing on, triggering a sound installation as they swing.

"The Swings by All or Nothing is a joint commission by Imaginate/Edinburgh International Children’s Festival and Merchant City Festival/Glasgow Life and is a performance we are very proud to be a part of. Jen and the team have created a show that is visually spectacular, accessible and artistically exciting, and that can work in so many different indoor and outdoor locations, it’s genius. We witnessed first-hand children from babies to early teens watching The Swings with their adults and families, dancing in the sun on the Botanics grass while being fully engaged in the performance. Main programme event. Suitable for all ages. This is a free show so no tickets are required. There will be other performances taking place in the same location, with shows in this location running from 12.30pm onwards.

Weather update on Saturday 5 August at 12noon. For safety reasons the artists are not able to present shows in the rain. Fingers crossed for sun. Any changes to the schedule will be posted in the website and social media.
